SNOW DAY!

I hope you are all enjoying the day off of school today as much as I am! This is the view from my 'classroom' today.

I've been getting marking done and planning for next semester's courses. WAHOO! I have added a few important changes to each class's schedule this week due to the snow day, so make sure that you read through the blog so you are prepared for class tomorrow.

Grade 12 English
- Make sure that you have read Vol. 3 Ch. 9-12 for tomorrow as we will be picking up at chapter 13 (if you did your reading at school yesterday and therefore did not bring your Mansfield Park novel home with you, just make sure you have read the summary from Sparknotes for Chapter 40-43 Mansfield Park Chapter Summaries)
- Vocab Quiz List 10: tomorrow
- Lit. Circle #7 (Vol. 3 Ch. 9-17): Friday (Group document has been emailed to you with your roles)
- Mansfield Park Test: Mon. Jan. 18
- Jane Austen Comparative Essay due: Tues. Jan. 19
- ISP Literary Essay due: Mon. Jan. 25 (at your exam)

Grade 10 Math
- tomorrow in class you will be given your Quadratic Equations Assignment due: Thursday
- Quadratic Relations Test: Mon. Jan. 18

Grade 10/11 French
- tomorrow you will hand in your translated sentences to be graded
- Vocab Pronunciation Quiz (Ch. 22-24): tomorrow (new)
- French Test (Ch. 17-24): Thurs. Jan 14 (new)

Student Council
- we will have our meeting tomorrow at lunch
- topics to cover:

• INAM chapels (priority)
• finances (count bake auction $$ and add bake sale & Keurig $$ to proper accounts
• Keurig (need to fix? warranty?)
• Haiti fundraiser 
• Lunch time activities/clubs
