We Were Made to Thrive
This Wednesday at Mount Salem Christian Secondary School left me extremely proud of my students as we ended the day in chapel, studying the book of James. Through our 21-minute study, we discovered many practical applications in which James challenges us to partake. I am looking forward to the upcoming weeks as we reflect and meditate on these actions and apply them to our daily lives. I praise God for giving me this opportunity to teach at this school, as I have been so greatly blessed by these students and staff members. We were made to thrive!

Give Thanks
Looking back over the past six weeks, I cannot help but give thanks to God for allowing me this opportunity to teach at Mount Salem. It has been a true joy to interact with the students, learning more about who they are, both inside and outside of the classroom. The students have worked hard on assignments, quizzes, and tests, and I look forward to delving into new topics as the weeks go on.
This coming week is a short one in the classroom, as we start the week on Tuesday and have the "World Concerns" conference on Thursday. I hope the students have enjoyed their long weekend and are ready to see what the Lord has in store for us this week at MSCSS.
